Drive innovation forward

SUITABLE FOR

Teams that wish to discuss and deepen their knowledge about the keys to innovation and the tools and habits that can help us move towards this goal.

BENEFITS

The participant will take away from this program:

  • What are the keys to each of the "Drive innovation forward" skills.
  • What simple tools (methodologies, best practices) exist to put the skills into practice, so that the participants themselves can adapt them to their own realities.
  • What solutions could be adopted to overcome the difficulties that exist in the participant's day-to-day life to mobilize the desired skills.
  • The memory generated by shocking cases of space exploration, a memory that will make it easier for knowledge to be reactivated and lessons learned not to be easily forgotten.
  • A fresh and different experience. An inspiring training program.
WHAT WILL WE DO?

In this experience we will specifically work on innovation skills. To do so, we will use a participatory format, facilitated by the innovative methodology "A space to grow" (© Leading-On), which uses elements from space and the universe to guide the discussions, as well as to inspire, surprise and create an imprint and memory in the participants.

  • Working session on skills (4h) in groups of more than 30 people:
    • Simple cases, based on key moments of space exploration, will be used to discover what are the keys to develop each of the skills.
    • We will discuss the cases among all, promoting the participation of the attendees.
    • Discussions will be complemented with methodological pills, provided by the trainer, about the skills discussed (tools, methodologies and good practices that can be adapted and used by the attendees).

The cases to be used in these sessions will be mainly based on:

    • On the Apollo project: its difficulties and innovations, its tragedies and lessons learned, the perseverance of innovators in the face of status-quo resistance.
    • In risk management and decision making in the face of Space Shuttle project innovations.
    • In the exploration of Mars and how incredible problems were overcome using incredible solutions.
  • For the final joint session (4h):
    • Virtual rooms of about 12 participants each will be created, and they will be assigned one of the skills worked on in the first sessions, with a summary of the keys (tools, best practices, etc.) that were discussed.
    • Participants will reflect in groups on the difficulties they may encounter in putting the skills into practice, and propose possible actions to overcome the barriers.
    • Finally, we will share results and open a colloquium among all.
WHAT WE WILL NEED
  • Use will be made of the client's own corporate training/videoconferencing platform.
  • The participant requires a computer with network connection, microphone and optionally (recommended) headphones and webcam.
