Successful projects

SUITABLE FOR

Project leaders, project managers, Project Management Office members and all the people involved in the core team of all types of projects.

BENEFITS
  • Learn to be efficient in project management.
  • Manage the diversity of the team by making the most of complementarity.
  • Learning to manage the difficulties that accompany any project (stress, conflicts, demotivation, etc.).
  • Knowing how to manage change.
  • Motivate and bring out the best in people.

"If you want to build a ship, don't start by fetching wood, cutting planks or distributing the work. First evoke in men and women the longing for a free and wide sea" (Antoine de Saint-Exupéry).

WHAT WE WILL DO

We will deal with projects from their efficient management and through the management of people in a very ineractive and experiential way. The first cause that explains the failures and/or delays of large projects is the resistance to change. People are the key to any project, they are the ones who move projects, generate dynamics, break resistance and consolidate learning.

We will approach the two days (8h) from two axes:

1/ Kotter's 8 accelerators:

  • "Create urgency": clearly define the "what for" of a project and its objectives (to have an end in mind).
  • "Form a powerful coalition": create the team according to the model of complementary diversity, thinking of the different profiles. Clearly define the governance model, a key element to determine the roles of each person.
  • "Develop a clear shared vision": generate a shared vision session with the entire team.
  • "Communicate the vision": invest energy and resources in communicating, defining a name and a logo to generate an identity for the project, so that participants are proud to participate in it.
  • "Empower people for action": manage follower profiles, the change curve, resistances and beliefs that appear along the way.
  • "Look for Quick Wins": mark intermediate milestones and celebrate them visibly to generate a sense of belonging and pride and continue to motivate teams.
  • "Consolidates and builds on change: consolidates best practices, objectifies results through indicators and KPIs, gives visibility to the project.
  • "Make it stick: institutionalize the change": define the new culture and process and rely on "internal evangelists" to consolidate.

2/ Equipment efficiency and management:

  • Learn how to plan efficiently to achieve milestones with reverse planning.
  • Improved prioritization of tasks with the urgent/important table.
  • Achieve optimal negotiation and conflict management with win/win negotiation and 'appreciative inquiry'.
  • Manage pressure, stress and your energy holistically to meet the challenges of a project.
  • Learn what Agile methodologies are and how they can help in the project session.
  • Develop your coaching skills to more effectively lead a project in harmony with people using assertiveness and generative listening.
  • Energize the team through team building and enjoy sharing good times: it relieves stress and generates confidence and motivation.
WHAT WE WILL NEED

Open-plan room with chairs for all participants, flipchart, video projector and loudspeakers.
