NASA DOESN'T HAVE IT EASY EITHER

SUITABLE FOR

Teams that face situations of complexity and change and want to learn tools to manage in this type of environment.

WHAT WE WILL DO

The objective of the program is to provide participants with the tools to better manage complexity, i.e., to manage in changing environments that generate pressure and uncertainty.

The program combines an initial participatory dynamic and two major complementary components:

-In the participatory dynamics, participants will be encouraged to identify, spontaneously and openly, the main difficulties they encounter in relation to managing within the complexity. The objective of this part is to promote participation, and to link with the development of the following parts.

-A technical component, consisting of the introduction of methodological aspects from the disciplines of change management and risk management, as well as practical tools easily adaptable to each particular situation, which will help participants to better analyze complex situations, to activate themselves positively in the face of change, and to make decisions in a more rational way in complex moments.

-Anemotional component, which will allow participants to learn how the process of change works, how it affects us as people (understanding, therefore, that complex and changing environments generate uncertainties, fears, doubts,... and that this is natural), and what are the main levers to move through it.

The program will make use of the innovative methodology "A space to grow" (© Leading-On), which uses elements from the universe and space exploration to facilitate discussions and learning, create impact, and generate recall of content through exciting and surprising facts.

WHAT PARTICIPANTS WILL TAKE AWAY WITH THEM:
  • Knowledge, simple tools (adaptable by themselves to their environments and problems), best practices and "tricks" that allow them to better manage complex and changing environments (information analysis, decision making, risk forecasting, ...).
  • Knowledge about how change and complexity affect us as people, in a totally natural process.
  • Emotional balance, in relation to the previous point, to try to avoid and/or overcome feelings of self-blame, discouragement, etc., typical in this type of situation.
  • The memory generated by powerful examples of space exploration, a memory that will make it easier for knowledge to be reactivated and lessons learned not easily forgotten.
  • A fresh and different experience. An inspiring training program.
OPTIONAL

A final on-line session, positioned in time a few weeks after the end of the previous sessions, with an open format, in which attendees can share their experience in the implementation of the tools and knowledge previously worked, and where the trainer can focus or deepen on any topic or tool.

Morning format of 2:30 hours duration.

WHAT WE WILL NEED

Spacious room suitable for the number of attendees, with audio equipment, computer and projector or monitor.
