SUITABLE FOR

Teams that, in the uncertain and complex environment in which we live, want to work on their bases and foundations as an essential step to achieve efficiency, agility and serenity.

BENEFITS
  • Co-design and decide the ideal framework for teamwork: Purpose (Why), mission (What), core values and behaviors (How).
  • Co-design and decide on a medium-term vision and the key stages of the roadmap to achieve it.
  • Clarify and map team roles: purpose of the role, key accountabilities of each member.
  • Synchronize and follow the activity of the team or the company in an effective and agile way: priorities, projects and actions.
WHAT WE WILL DO

Stage 1: Purpose, mission and behaviors/values

  • From the best and relevant moments of each person in the company, the team shares and groups the "raw material" of the "Why", "What" and "How" of the team:

- Important messages for the team that inspire and excite them.

- Messages they would like to share with customers and colleagues.

  • Ideal customers (person): beliefs, pains and expected benefits.
  • The team distributes the messages among the 3 dimensions and chooses the messages that fit best with the customers and the team.

Stage 2: Medium-term vision and key milestones

The team completes a systemic tool, the "Macroscope", to share its vision of yesterday, today and tomorrow of the major trends in its environment, its customers, suppliers and competitors. The work of step 1 will be very useful (purpose, ideal customer...) and can be completed by a positioning triangle.

From this matrix and visual elements, the team aligns and converges on the destination it wants to reach in 2 to 3 years: a desired end state.

Last challenge: identify the stages to achieve the desired state. The team positions the proposed "domino effects" on a time wall.

Stage 3: Map of roles

  • Each team member answers 2 questions and shares with the team:

What do I do every day for my colleagues and our customers on a daily basis? In what role do I do it?

Taking into account my strengths and desires, what would I like to do/propose? In what role?

  • The team groups and clarifies everyone's proposals.

After the workshop: The leader will arbitrate and assign roles, taking into account the proposals and discussions of the workshop.

Stage 4: Experimentation of an effective "synchronization" meeting - short time, high efficiency!

A custom-designed digital dashboard will support the experience and upcoming meetings.

A "Facilitator" is in charge of pointing and updating the board during the meetings.

1) The trainer facilitates the first meeting to get started and shares an effective and agile synchronization method.

2) A volunteer from the team continues to facilitate training, supported by the trainer.

The team decides if it wants to continue with the method, with what frequency and adjustments, and what it needs to achieve it.
