Cultural team challenge

Teams of different nationalities working in a cross-cultural environment, who want to understand the "ins and outs" of diversity, raise awareness of the most common differences when communicating and collaborating in multicultural teams.

• Know the most important cultural differences in the ways of collaborating and communicating.
• Discover the individual "Cultural profile" by comparing with the 8 dimensions defined by Erin Meyer that generate the most frequent cultural gaps.
• Test the effectiveness of their skills in the face of cultural differences and develop strategies to improve their response.
• Obtain guidelines to improve personal and team effectiveness, making the most of cultural diversity, turning it into a strength for the team.

It is an interactive and very impactful workshop, especially for people who have not been exposed to the different cultural dimensions. We will start by self-assessing the "cultural profile" of each participant through a simple but very revealing test.

During the workshop participants will practice strategies to develop their Cultural Intelligence (CQ) and learn how to manage differences in their teams. The practice is done through role-plays, group discussions on different values and "biases" towards cultural differences, as well as a game session. Bargna is a card simulation game that encourages participants to adapt their behaviors and adopt new strategies to cope with multiculturalism. All in an interactive and fun way.
