Working with horses helps us explore our leadership and influence style and how the different components of the team interact.
The horse is a hierarchical animal that recognizes and seeks leadership and the group. It is a social animal, sensitive, with a very extensive body language and with a great capacity to read its environment. Therefore, it has the ability to provide instant, honest and very valuable feedback to work on self-knowledge and group relationships based on trust and mutual respect.
WHAT WE WILL DO
It is a very impacting experiential workshop. We will perform dynamics with horses, exercises and role-plays that will make us discover the essence of natural horsemanship. It is based on combining reason and heart and this combination is also the essence of authentic leadership. Leadership, communication and relationships in the group are a central part of the work with horses.
You will learn to recognize how you feel in relation to your horse and how your horse responds to you, understands you and accepts your work. This very powerful feedback will help us understand the interactions between group members and work on connection. At the end of the day, we will spend some time reflecting and deciding what actions for change we can commit to activate individually and collectively starting today.
WHAT WE WILL NEED
Comfortable outdoor clothing and shoes and sunscreen.
